CT POST CERTIFIED POLICE OFFICERS

**PLEASE NOTE: THIS JOB IS FOR CT P.O.S.T. CERTIFIED POLICE OFFICERS ONLY** 

The City of West Haven announces an open recruitment seeking Connecticut POST Certified Officers for the position of Police Officer.  Candidates should be in good standing with their current department.  

Candidates will be required to successfully pass the following: 

  • Drug Screening.
  • Thorough background investigation.
  • Officers are required to reside within 20 miles of West Haven upon completing their second year of employment.
  • Oral Interview.
  • Medical Examination. 

Officers with three or more years of experience will have a shortened one year probationary period. Top salary is $84,221.17.
