WEST WILDWOOD POLICE DEPARTMENT

SLEO CLASS II POLICE OFFICERS
SLEO Class II Certified required
GENERAL DUTIES
- Be required to follow orders and make sound decisions
- Work well within a group setting, yet be able to function individually
- Adhere to the Standard Operating Procedures and General Orders of the agency
- Adhere to a community oriented policing philosophy
- Answer calls for service and maintain a proactive enforcement strategy
ABOUT WEST WILDWOOD POLICE DEPARTMENT
- Comprised of 6 full time officers and 3-4 SLEO II officers
- Officers are exposed to a multitude of areas within the field of law enforcement
- Progressive agency geared toward community policing with a strong emphasis on training
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
- SLEO Class II Certified required
- Must be a U.S. Citizen
- Be over the age of 18
- High School Diploma or High School Equivalency Diploma
- Of solid moral character
- In good physical condition
