EMPLOYMENT OPPORTUNITY
Police Sergeant
The Truro Police Department is seeking qualified candidates for the position of police sergeant. Successful candidates must possess integrity, be highly motivated, and demonstrate good problem-solving skills. Applicants with certification from a full-time police academy accepted by the Massachusetts Municipal Police Training Committee (MPTC) are encouraged to apply.
REQUIREMENTS
Candidates seeking employment as a police officer with the Truro Police Department must possess a high school diploma or equivalency. The salary range is $61,760 – $70,310, DOQ, with an excellent benefits package. Salary does not include overtime, shift differentials, educational incentives, and clothing and cleaning allowances.
Conditional offers of employment and are subject to successful completion of medical and psychological examinations, and a thorough background examination. The application period will be ongoing until position(s) are filled.
