PLYMOUTH POLICE DEPARTMENT

Certified Police Officer 

 

The Town of Plymouth a rural community in Litchfield County covering 22.4 square miles and home to approximately 12,000 residents with a police department comprised of twenty-four (24) officers is accepting applications for the position of Police Officer. CT-POST Certified Police Officers meeting POST Lateral Entry Requirements preferred.  Certified Police Officers must be in good standing with their current police department.  Salary $76,183.09 to $82,047.25.  All candidates must possess a valid CT driver's license and be a non-smoker.  Must pass written, oral, psychological, polygraph, physical examination, drug screening, and background investigation.  Two (2) weeks paid vacation, holiday, personal, sick, and bonus time, uniform/cleaning allowance, longevity pay, MERS Pension Plan, excellent benefits package, four (4) days on and two (2) days off work schedule.
