VOLUNTEER POSITIONS

Position Title: Walton County Sheriff’s Office Volunteer Position

JOB SUMMARY:

The Walton County Sheriff's Office is actively seeking individuals who wish to serve the community in a voluntary capacity.  Volunteer positions are available for:

• Walton County Jail
• Walton County Animal Control
• Walton County Sheriff’s Office
• Walton County Fire Rescue
• Walton County Posse

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:

Individuals wishing to apply must:

• Have a positive attitude
• Have a “can-do” spirit
• Have a desire to serve the community
• Be 18 years of age
• Possess a valid driver’s license

HIRING PROCESS:

Applicants will be required to successfully complete:

• Background investigation which includes, but is not limited to: criminal history, driving history, credit check, previous employment verification
• Polygraph Examination
• Panel Interview
• Pre-employment Drug Screen (including nicotine panel)
