MUNICIPAL ANIMAL CONTROL OFFICER
The Guilford police Department is a CALEA and State of Connecticut certified police agency that is currently accepting applications for the position of Municipal Animal Control Officer (MACO).
This is a full-time, 40 hour per week position that requires flexible hours, including weekends.
A competitive wage and benefits package will be offered in accordance with the current Collective Bargaining Agreement. Starting salary is $16.27 per hour.
All candidates will be required to successfully complete and pass the following:
- CPCA Municipal Animal Control Officer written examination (Applicants must pass this exam to be eligible for further consideration in the selection process)
- Oral Interview
- Thorough background investigation
- Physical/medical examination
