POLICE OFFICER OPENING (CT POST Certified Officer Only)

The Town of Newington announces a recruitment for the position of CERTIFIED POLICE OFFICER. 

**$5,000 SIGN ON BONUS**

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS: 

Must be CT POST Certified Police Officer.

EDUCATION

Graduation from high school or G.E.D., college degree preferred, and a good prior work record.  Must have a valid State of Connecticut driver’s license.

Must be able to pass a thorough background investigation, polygraph, medical and psychological examination and written tests.  Other special requirements may apply.

Candidates must be U.S. Citizens
