SUSQUEHANNA REGIONAL POLICE IS NOW HIRING
ACT 120 Certified Police Officer
The Susquehanna Regional Police Department is accepting applications for the position of full-time Police Officer.
Completed applications must be submitted online at Policeapp.com by January 31, 2024.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
- 21 years of age or older by the date of employment
- Must have successfully completed ACT 120 training or currently enrolled in ACT 120 training, with a graduation date of no later than 12/31/2023.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent
- Possess a valid PA driver’s license (out of state applicants must possess a valid PA driver’s license at time of employment)
- Free of any state or federal criminal convictions that are punishable by more than 1 year imprisonment
- Free of any convictions of any crime enumerated in the PA Uniform Firearms Act of 1995
- Free of any convictions of any crime enumerated in 18 PA C.S., Chapter 61
- Be able to perform all of the essential functions, duties and responsibilities of a Police Officer, with or without reasonable accommodations, in accordance with the Essential Duties and Responsibilities for Susquehanna Regional Police Officers.
APPLICANTS MUST
- Undergo a rigorous background investigation to include, but not limited to the following: Criminal history, driving history,
financial & credit history, employment &discipline history, military & discipline history, education and personal references - Undergo a physical / medical examination
- Undergo a psychological examination
- Successfully pass review by an oral review board
- Accept the terms and conditions of the “Pre-Employment Agreement” and
- Undergo any other examination or screening process as deemed necessary
ABOUT US
The Susquehanna Regional Police Department is a 16 Officer Police Department including the Chief of Police, Lieutenant, (2)Sergeants, (2) Detectives and (2) SRO Officers. Under the leadership of Chief Anthony J. Hall, we are a progressive and professional police department, focused on serving (3) Municipalities, Marietta Borough, East Donegal Township and Conoy Township.
Our Police Department currently has Officers assigned to the following:
- Lancaster County Forensic Unit
- Lancaster County Crash Team, which investigates serious and fatal crashes
- Criminal Investigation Division
- School Resource Officer

The Mission of the Susquehanna Regional Police Department is to work in partnership with the citizens of Conoy Township, East Donegal Township and Marietta Borough to enhance the quality of life in our region by raising the level of public safety through law enforcement and reducing the fear and incidence of crime. Our department will work with the needs of our community and do so with integrity and honor.
