Certified Police Officer 

The Clinton Police Department is currently seeking lateral entry candidates for the position of Police Officer. Applicants must hold a valid Connecticut POSTC certification or be able to achieve certification through comparative compliance within 30 days of hire. Qualified candidates will be hired at an advanced pay grade. Current salary range is $71,950+ to $77,193+. Additional pay incentives include Education Pay, Longevity Pay, Uniform Allowance, Holiday Pay, paid vacation and paid sick leave. The patrol schedule works a four day on, two day off (4/2) rotation. We have a number of opportunities available outside of standard patrol duties including Marine Patrol, Bicycle Patrol, Peer Support Team, Law Enforcment Accreditation, Investigations, and many other programs.  If you are looking to become part of a team dedicated to professionalism and community policing, apply now.
