Job Announcement:

The Franklin Township Police Department is now accepting applications for certified candidates who are interested in a career in law enforcement.  Eligible applicants must possess a New Jersey PTC certification as a full time police officer or Special Law Enforcement Officer Class II.  

Hiring Process:

  • Successful Completion of Physical Fitness Test
  • Panel Interview
  • Background Investigation
  • Psychological Investigation
  • Medical/Drug Screening

Minimum Qualifications:

  • 18-35 years old and US Citizen
  • Must possess valid NJ Driver’s License
  • Must possess a high school diploma or its equivalent
  • Must be a resident of New Jersey
  • Must be able to successfully pass a physical fitness test, drug screening, background investigation, medical examination, and psychological examination
