HARRINGTON PARK POLICE DEPARTMENT
CERTIFIED POLICE OFFICER
Minimum Requirements:
Certified in the Basic Course for Police Officers (BCPO) by the NJ Police Training Commission (NJPTC)
Additional requirements:
- Applicants must be 18-35 years of age
- Be a US citizen and resident of NJ at the time of appointment
- Possess a valid NJ Driver's License
About Our Department:
The Harrington Park Police Department serves a community of approximately 5000 residents and places an emphasis on community policing and personalized services.
The Harrington Park Police Department is currently looking to hire one certified police officer.
Hiring Process:
- Application and verification of PTC certification
- Oral interview
- Background investigation and PTC Licensing
- Psychological examination
- Drug screening
