The Rumson Police Department is accepting applications for full-time, certified SLEO 2 Police Officers.

Applicants must meet the following eligibility requirements:

The Rumson Police Department is accepting applications for full-time, certified SLEO 2 Police Officers.
Applicants must meet the following eligibility requirements:
 
• Must be a graduate of a New Jersey Police Training Commission Basic Course for Class 2 Special Law Enforcement Officers, and possess a NJ SLEO II PTC Certification.
• Must be between the ages of 18 and 34
Must have a valid NJ Driver’s License
• Must be a High School Graduate
• Must be in sound body and of good health and able to perform the physical functions of the duties assigned.
• Must be of good moral character and shall not have been convicted of any crime or offense involving moral turpitude.
• This is a full-time position with personal time off, healthcare and pension benefits. An employee can choose to opt out of healthcare.
