The Watertown Police Department is now accepting Applications for:

CT P.O.S.T. CERTIFIED POLICE OFFICER

     The Watertown Police Department, a state accredited agency, is currently accepting online applications from current Connecticut P.O.S.T Certified Police Officers for the position of Police Officer.  Applicants must be either active Connecticut P.O.S.T certified police officers in good standing with their current department, have retired in good standing, or were separated from service in good standing, still having Connecticut P.O.S.T Police Officer certification status.

The salary range is $71,707 - $88,131.

     Applicants must possess a high school diploma or equivalency, hold a valid Connecticut driver's license and be a non-smoker. Applicants must already be a CONNECTICUT CERTIFIED POLICE OFFICER,  

     Testing includes:  written test, oral interview(s), a polygraph examination, a psychological examination, a physical examination and a thorough background investigation.
