PART-TIME POLICE OFFICER
(POST CERTIFICATION REQUIRED)
The Town of Westbrook is seeking applicants for a part time Law Enforcement position.
QUALIFICATIONS:
Requires valid CT POST Certification, you must have been a certified police officer for at least two years. You must be in good standing with your department or retired in good standing. If retired, you must be within your certification time period.
Graduation from High School or equivalent. An Associate's or Bachelor's Degree in Criminal Justice, Police or Public Administration or related field is desirable. Must be able to possess and maintain a valid Connecticut Motor Vehicle Operator's License. Must meet rigorous physical, legal and ethical standards, including a personal history devoid of any drug related conviction, felony conviction, conviction of any Class A or B misdemeanor or any conviction for domestic violence.
