WILDWOOD CREST POLICE DEPARTMENT
IS NOW ACCEPTING APPLICATIONS FOR
CERTIFIED CLASS I AND CLASS II SPECIAL LAW ENFORCEMENT OFFICERS
The Wildwood Crest Police Department, as part of and empowered by the community, is committed to a safe and peaceful environment. Minimum requirements:
The open positions are for current certified Class II Officers (SLEO II certified) or for PTC certified through the Alternate Route Program.
Also looking for any certified Class I Officers (SLEO I certified)
Applicants must comply with the following basic qualification standards
- United States Citizen that possesses a valid driver’s license
- Age 18 or older
- Possess a High School Diploma or Equivalent
- Be of good moral character
- Good physical condition
- Pass Background Investigation, Medical Examination, Psychological Profile
Wildwood Crest Police Department disqualifiers:
- Any indictable arrest of the 1st, 2nd, or 3rd degree
- 4th degree within last 5 years
- DWI within the last 5 years
- Marijuana arrest within the last year

Salary is based on experience of the applicant.
