About Us

Our department proudly serves the communities of Chesterfield, West Chesterfield, and Spofford. We provide emergency services to approximately 3,700 residents across 48 square miles, encompassing more than 100 miles of roadway. In addition to serving our year-round residents, we respond to the seasonal influx of visitors who come to enjoy Spofford Lake, one of the region’s favorite recreational destinations, as well as travelers along the busy Route 9 corridor. Our commitment is to deliver professional, responsive, and community-focused service to all who live, work, and visit our service area.
