JOB DESCRIPTION

The Police Cadet is a non-sworn, civilian support position within the Salisbury Police Department designed to assist with operational, administrative, communications, traffic, and community engagement functions while exposing the cadet to a wide range of departmental activities in preparation for a future career as a sworn police officer. The Police Cadet Program serves as a structured recruitment and development framework that provides supervised exposure to law enforcement operations without conferring arrest powers or sworn authority.
