Our Mission
The mission of the Clayton Police Department is to provide its residents with a quality standard of living. The CPD strives to maintain and improve upon this quality standard of living. This can be accomplished through enforcement of laws, public awareness, establishing a strong bond with the people to whom the CPD is sworn to serve. The Clayton Police Department will educate the public on the function and purpose of its police department, and create community programs which will incorporate police and citizens working together for a common goal. The Clayton Police Department will conduct itself in a courteous manner, and maintain the highest standard of public trust.
