Job Announcement
The Raymond Police Department is seeking individuals for full-time and part-time, non-exempt Dispatcher(s). Interested candidates should possess an ability to multi-task, have strong written and oral communication skills and computer data entry skills. Must be willing to work nights, weekends, and holidays.
The starting rate is commensurate with experience and ranges from $22.34 to $29.40 for full-time and $18.45 to $21.58 an hour for part-time.
Additional benefits include:
- Weekday Shift differentials:
- 3pm-11pm $.90 per hour
- 11pm-7am $1.10 per hour
- Weekend Shift differentials (Friday 11pm to Sunday 11pm):
- 7am-3pm $.55 per hour
- 3pm-11pm $1.75 per hour
- 11pm-7am $2.15 per hour
11 holidays paid at time and one-half.
Communications Training Officers (CTO) stipend $2.00 per hour while working in that capacity.
- Uniform Cleaning Allowance $400 for full-time and $100 for part-time
Longevity Bonus $250 paid annually after completion of 10 years employment.
Course reimbursement incentives dependent on grade received for relevant course work at post-secondary educational institutions.
- Military Service stipends:
- Honorable discharge after 2 years military service $.25 per hour
- Honorable discharge after 4 years military service $.50 per hour
- Education stipends:
- Associate degree $.25 per hour
- Bachelor’s degree $.50 per hour
- Master’s degree $.75 per hour
- Doctorate (PhD) $1.00 per hour
