Minimum Requirements:
- 21 years of age
- High School diploma or GED
- Current MA driver's license
- Posses/Obtain MA License to Carry
- Pass extensive background investigation
- complete all P.O.S.T. Commission pre-employment requirements
- pass phycological test, pass physical fitness testing, pass a pre academy physical
Job Description/General Duties:
Identify criminal offenders, criminal activity, where appropriate apprehend offenders and participate is subsequent court proceedings. Reduce the opportunities for the commission of crime through preventive patrol, aid individuals who are in danger or physical harm, monitor traffic and enforce violations, promote and preserve the peace, provide other services on an emergency basis, perform such other related duties as assigned
