We are a town of approximately 2600 residents. Town is 10 square miles consisting primarily of families and several retirement communities. Our department has relaxed tattoo and facial hair policies.

Minimum Requirements:

• High school graduate
• Age 21
• Valid driver's license
• Certification by NH police standards and training as a full-time officer or the ability to obtain certification within one year

Job Description/General Duties:

• Motor vehicle enforcement
• deter and investigate crimes
• community outreach activities
• respond and assist with medical emergencies
• respond to and investigate motor vehicle collisions
• assist neighboring agencies

Testing Requirements:

Physical Fitness Test - The physical fitness test is established by NHPSTC and is based on the 35% Cooper Institute Standards. It is comprised of push-ups, sit-ups, and a 1.5-mile run. Candidates must meet the following minimum entry standards based on gender and age:
