FEDERALSBURG, MD POLICE DEPARTMENT

POLICE OFFICER

Federalsburg Police Department is currently seeking two full time Police Officers to join its’ ranks. Federalsburg is a small town of 2600 located on the eastern shore of Maryland. Federalsburg offers its’ officers a competitive salary and a close knit community to become an essential member of. Applicants will be required to complete:

  • Written Examination
  • Physical Agility Test
  • Drug Screening Test
  • Psychological Screening
  • Polygraph Test
  • Credit Screening
  • Background Investigation
  • Chief’s Interview

Minimum Selection Standards For Law Enforcement Officers 

  • Citizen Requirement: Applicants must be a United States Citizen.
  • Minimum Age Requirement: Applicants mus be 21 years of age to be certified as a Law Enforcment Officer. Required to reach the age of 21 before the completion of the Police Academy.
  • Education Requirement: Applicants must have earned and possess a high school diploma or a GED at a Minimum.
  • Driver's Licence: Applicants must have a valid driver's license.
  • Fitness Requirement: Applicants have to successfully complete physical fitness requirements. 
  • Application Completion: Applicants must complete a police department application in full.
  • Successful completion of the following:
    • Drug Screening Test
    • Psychological Screening
    • Polygraph Test
    • Credit Screening
