Police Officer – Intergovernmental Transfer from Civil Service Town Preferred
A Police Officer is responsible for preserving public safety, protecting life and property, and enforcing federal, state, and local laws. The position requires the exercise of sound judgment, integrity, and professionalism while serving the community.
Current sworn law enforcement officer in good standing.
Certification as a police officer with a NJ PTC License.
Valid driver's license.
Ability to meet all physical, medical, and psychological requirements established by the hiring agency.
Strong communication, decision-making, and interpersonal skills.
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
Starting salary is negotiable depending on prior experience.
