SALARY & BENEFITS
- Current salary: $42,210 - $104,289 (Contract Year)
**Starting salary negotiable depending on experience**
- 12 Hour Shifts (Every other weekend off, rotating day/night monthly)
- Paid Vacation, Kelly, Personal, and Sick Time Off
- State Health Plan (NJ Direct 15) includes Vision and Dental
- Yearly Clothing Allowance
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
The Mullica Township Police Department is currently accepting applications for the position of Police Officer. The Mullica Township Police Department is located in Atlantic County. Applicants should be energetic, willing to learn, and take great pride in the community they serve. Applicants must minimally possess the following qualifications.
- Have a valid Basic Police Officer certification from the New Jersey Police Training Commission, currently enrolled in a N.J. P.T.C. certified police academy, OR possess a valid NJ Class II Certification with a graduation date BEFORE September 30, 2023.
- Be a citizen of the United States and the State of New Jersey
- Be able to read and write the English language
- Not have been convicted of any violations of the laws of the State of New Jersey or the United States, except minor traffic offenses, nor have been convicted of any crime or offense involving moral turpitude.
- Have a valid New Jersey driver’s license
- Submit to a complete background investigation
- Submit to and successfully pass psychological testing
- Submit to and successfully pass drug screening
