Nutley - Entry Level Police Officer
The Nutley Police Department is currently accepting resumes for the position of full-time Police Officers from qualified New Jersey residents, who DO NOT possess a NJ PTC Certification. The hiring process includes an extensive background investigation, drug screening, oral interview, medical examination and psychological evaluation upon conditional appointment.
Candidates will also be REQUIRED to attend and graduate from a NJ Police Academy, Basic Course for Police Officers. Nutley PD will sponsor your admittance.

- Candidates must be a resident of the state of New Jersey for not less than six months and must be a citizen of the United States.
- Candidates must have a current and valid New Jersey Drivers's License.
- Candidates must have a good reputation and be of sound moral character. Any conviction for an indictable
- offense or other crimes or offenses is subject to evaluation during our background investigation.
Starting salary $43,704.05 - $125,268.00
