POCONO MOUNTAIN REGIONAL POLICE

2025 HIRING PROCESS

Application Deadline - January 22, 2025 at 11:59 pm.

The Pocono Mountain Regional Police Department is now accepting applications for Police Officer. All applicants must possess a High School diploma or G.E.D and must have reached their 21st birthday before the deadline for submitting applications. All applicants must be a US Citizen and possess a valid PA driver’s license prior to appointment. Selection by written exam – physical agility tests – oral interview – polygraph and background investigation. 

WRITTEN EXAM

The written exam is scheduled for Sunday, 26 January 2025 at 10:00 a.m. at POCONO MOUNTAIN HIGH SCHOOL WEST CAFETERIA 181 Panther Ln, Pocono Summit, PA 18346.     

TESTING BEGINS PROMPTLY AT 10:00 AM.  

Every applicant who receives one of the top sixty (60) scores and scores seventy percent (70%) or higher in the written examination will qualify to participate in the Physical Fitness Test. Applicants must successfully pass each section of the written exam. 

PHYSICAL FITNESS TEST

The Physical Fitness Test is scheduled  for Sunday, 2 March 2025 at 9:00 AM. The test will take place at the East Stroudsburg University Field House.
