MISSION STATEMENT

The Mission of the Harpersville Police Department is to safeguard the lives and property of the citizens we serve, to build public trust while partnering with the community in an effort to reduce crime, maintain order, and to enhance the quality of life in Harpersville.

Our department strives to incorporate technology, modern policing practices, community policing methods, problem oriented policing, and a proactive pursuit of violators of the law during all operations.  We make every effort to provide public safety in a prompt, professional, and courteous manner. 

Law enforcement must have the support and involvement of the community to be successful.  We recognize and appreciate the support that the citizens of Harpersville provide us each day.  We encourage all citizens to get involved by reporting suspicious circumstances, crimes in progress, and by cooperating with law enforcement during criminal investigations
