ABOUT THE COMMUNITY WE SERVE

The Hobart Police Department serves a community of approximately 30,000 residents. Hobart is approximately 40 miles southeast of downtown Chicago and serves as the regional center for commerce, employment, entertainment, modern healthcare facilities, fine dining, and historical landmarks. There are excellent educational opportunities which the City is served by three different school districts. The community has great public spaces and recreational opportunities, as well as a focus on environmental sustainability, health and wellness.
