- Title: Equipment Operator
- Job Summary
Responsible for picking up and transporting of materials, supplies, and tools to the worksite.
Responsible for hauling gravel and other road construction material
Responsible for the operation of heavy construction equipment used in road maintenance and repair, including blading dirt roads maintained by the county
Responsible for repair and maintenance of ditches, potholes, and county rights of way
Responsible for the maintenance of assigned equipment
Responsible for the maintenance and repair of street signs
Responsible for flagging and directing traffic in a safe manner, per direction of Crew Leader
Other duties as assigned.
Minimum Qualifications
High school diploma or GED and one year of skilled experience and specialized vocational training; or any equivalent combination of education, training, and experience which provides the requisite knowledge, skills, and abilities for this job. Must Possess a valid GA Driver's License and a valid Commercial Driver's License.
