Job Announcement:

The Peach County Juvenile Court is seeking a motivated seasonal intern to support daily court operations from May 1 through September 1, 2026. This internship offers hands-on exposure to the juvenile justice system, including administrative support, case file organization, courtroom assistance, and professional interaction with court staff and community partners. Ideal for students interested in law, criminal justice, public service, or administration.
Responsibilities:
- Assist the Deputy Administrator with daily Juvenile Court operations.
- Support coordination and implementation of the Positive Incentive Program (PIP).
- Help organize incentives and activities that promote positive youth behavior.
- Interact professionally with court staff, youth participants, and families.
- Track participation and assist with program documentation and evaluation.
- Respond professionally in fast-paced or sensitive situations involving youth.
Qualifications
- Organizational, communication, and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to remain calm, professional, and make sound decisions in high-pressure or crisis situations.
- Demonstrated interest in juvenile justice, youth advocacy, social services, or a related field.
Additional Requirements:
- Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.
- Ability to successfully pass a background check.
