FROM THE OFFICE OF THE CHIEF:

Members of the Plainfield Police Department have been providing 7 day per week 24 hour police services to the villages of Plainfield, Moosup, Wauregan, and Central Village since 1982. I believe the cooperative working relationship between the police and the people we serve is the strongest it has ever been, and I am looking forward to continuing to build and strengthen the rapport.

As Police Chief, it is important to work with our Police Commission and our Police Officers in order to ensure that appropriate policies and procedures are in place to continue providing “Honorable Service”. That being said, I truly believe that it is not only the people in our organization but also the citizens of our community who indeed make the difference.

Together we can continue to make the Town of Plainfield a great place to live and raise our families. Please feel free to contact the Plainfield Police Department if you have any questions or concerns. I respectfully look forward to serving you.

Sincerely,
Mario A. Arriaga
Chief of Police
