The City of Woonsocket, Rhode Island, Personnel Division, will begin accepting applications to establish an Eligibility List for the Woonsocket Fire Department starting on Friday, May 31, 2024 continuing through Friday, August 9, 2024. Please review the position description and requirements prior to applying.
Applicants must meet the following minimum criteria:
Must be 18 years of age or older; must be a US citizen; must have no felony convictions; must have a valid driver’s license; and must have a high school diploma or a GED equivalent.

Weekly Salary Rate: Training Rate - $770.68/week
Rate After Probationary Period - $1,247.54/week
Hours of Work: 42.0 Hours
