LATERAL TRANSFER POLICE OFFICER
The Lincoln Police Department is now accepting applications for Certified Police Officers.
You must have previous experience as a R.I. P.O.S.T. certified Police Officer to apply.
JOB DESCRIPTION:
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:
- Must be an active Rhode Island P.O.S.T. certified Police Officer OR be a recently retired / resigned Police Officer with the credentials to re-apply for Rhode Island P.O.S.T. certification.
- Must be a United States Citizen
- Must be at least eighteen (18) years old at the time of the application deadline.
- Must possess and provide a valid motor vehicle operator's license.
- Must possess a high school diploma or G.E.D. (Higher education preferred)
- Must be of good moral character and successfully pass an extensive background investigation.
- Must pass a physical and psychological examination.
