Applicants must possess a New Jersey Police Training Commission Basic Course for Police Officers Certification, or be an Alternate Route police academy recruit or graduate. Officers with prior NJ Law Enforcement experience may be eligible for lateral pay.

Minimum Requirements:
- New Jersey resident
- 60 college credits
- No Criminal Record
- US Citizen
- Possess a valid New Jersey Driver's License
- Good Driving Record
- Be in good physical condition
- Good moral character
