Minimum Requirements:
- U.S. Citizen
- 21+ Years of Age
- Valid Driver's License
- Meet MPOETC Fitness Requirements
- High School Diploma or Equivalent
- Must Reside within 25 air miles upon hire
- Possesses Hearing & Vision in compliance with MPOETC standard
Job Description/General Duties:
A police officer monitors and maintains civil order, enforces ordinances and laws, and ensures the general safety of the public. A police officer with Newberry Township Police must be able to meet and comply with the Police Officer Job Description and Essential Duties of a Police Officer in the attached document.
