WATERTOWN POLICE DEPARTMENT
IS NOW ACCEPTING APPLICATIONS FOR
ENTRY LEVEL POLICE OFFICERS

The Town of Watertown is seeking qualified applicants for the position of police officer.
Applicants must be 21 years of age on the date of appointment, possess a high school diploma or equivalency, hold a valid Connecticut driver’s license and be a non-smoker.
All candidates will be required to pass a written test administered by the Connecticut Police Chiefs Association (CPCA).
All candidates must have a valid CHIP card in order to submit application.
All candidates will be required to pass an oral interview, a polygraph examination, a psychological examination, a physical examination and a thorough background investigation.
Upon completion of P.O.S.T. training and assignment to a patrol shift, candidates will work a 5-on-3-off, 5-on-2-off work schedule.
The salary range is $60,199.02 - $96,537.71
Applicants must possess a high school diploma or equivalency, hold a valid Connecticut driver's license and be a non-smoker.
