TOWN OF WILTON
HIRING FOR
ENTRY LEVEL POLICE OFFICERS
SALARY RANGE $72,417 - $99,154
NOT INCLUDING OVERTIME AND
EXTRA DUTY RATE OF $88.61/hour
Yearly Education Allowance
$500 for Associates, $1000 for Bachelors and $1500 for Masters Degrees.
Military Service Stipend
Two (2) years of active non-reserve military service shall be equated to one (1) year of higher education, such that an employee with four (4) years of active non-reserve military service shall receive incentive pay as if he/she has earned an Associate’s degree.
The Wilton Police officers work a 5-2 5-3 work week schedule with a 7% midnight and 3.5% evening shift differential.
All officers are allotted 12 paid holidays, accrued vacation days (up to 25), sick days and 3 personal days per year.
