General Requirements:

Minimum of 21 years of age
High School diploma or GED
Good physical & mental health
Valid PA driver’s license

Testing Procedure:

The Swatara Police application process requires a physical fitness test and written examination. Other steps in the hiring process include successfully completing an oral board interview, intensive background investigation, polygraph examination, psychological testing and physical exam for selected candidates.
